At theXperience.samui in Thailand, four monumental statues, each standing 40 to 50 feet tall, were transformed through projection mapping into living works of art. Nestled within a lush jungle setting, the statues—Luna, Ticha, Embrace, and Sweet Tooth—became dynamic canvases where digital surrealism met the raw beauty of nature. Each statue features its own unique artistic identity, expressed through custom AI-generated visuals and fluid animations. Their larger-than-life presence evolves through ever-changing projections that merge storytelling, motion, and cosmic-inspired art.
Hidden within the lush jungles of Koh Samui lies an artistic marvel where cutting-edge AI technology meets ancient-inspired sculptures. Through advanced projection mapping and AI-generated visuals, these majestic statues evolve before your eyes, blending digital surrealism with organic environments. The statues shift, breathe, and emote—transforming into dynamic storytellers through flowing textures, mystical patterns, and cosmic designs. This living art installation pushes the boundaries of creative technology, redefining immersive experiences.
My contribution included AI-driven transitions, seamlessly morphing scenes from underwater to coastal shores and then to the inland landscapes. This technique brought dynamic flow to the narrative, emphasizing the gradual shift from ocean depths to the land, enhancing the visual storytelling and capturing the essence of California’s natural environment. The journey began by designing custom AI-driven animations tailored to each statue’s character and essence. Through advanced tools like Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, and AnimateDiff, organic textures, shifting expressions, and surreal visuals were crafted. These projections turned stone into stories, creating lifelike transformations that mesmerize from every angle. Projected faces blink, smile, and react as visual patterns flow like living skin, harmonizing with the surrounding jungle environment. Every movement is designed to evoke emotion, blending ancient myth with futuristic digital art.
